Mesh Banner (10oz Coated Polyester Mesh)

MeshBanners are used for outdoor events such as festivals, celebrations andconcerts. Printed on a polyester, they allow wind and sound to pass through thematerial. Mesh Banners permits some visibility through windows and also allowsnatural light into the store. Mesh Banners are suitable for situations where abanner will be subjected to high wind conditions. Since the material is morelightweight, mesh is a viable alternative to vinyl to counteract the effect inwindy conditions. If you are looking for large format banners to hidescaffolding on a construction job, or expect to subject your banner in heavywinds, Mesh Banners are the preferred choice.

Create your file in CMYK mode with are solution of 300 dpi.
If you file has been created in RGB or includes RGB objects, we recommend converting the file to CMYK.
Your artwork should reflect only what you need to be printed in the final product. Do not include bleeding or crop marks in your artwork and send the same size as you have ordered or in the same ratio.

Create your file in CMYK mode.

Resolution should be 300 dpi.

File size should be 100% of the finished size.

If your file is larger than 50 MB you may scale it down but the size ratio must remain the same.
Example:
(If the final file size is 20”x 40” , you can create your file 10"x 20". We will expand your file to the size specified in your order.
If you are working with vector images (in programs like Adobe Illustrator), the final size artwork is not necessary unless you have placed photographs into your document. Then the above guidelines will apply.

All fonts should be converted to curves or outlines, and files should be flattened or rasterized if possible.

When including photographs in your design please flatten (rasterized) your file to prevent any delays or printing discrepancies.

We accept the following file formats: PDF and JPG files. But they must be prepared properly (It's strongly suggested that the JPG is created the closest size possible to the final print size or at least in a 50% scale with 300 dpi). In order to provide you the fastest turn around, all artworks for Large Format products are sent directly to press and we do not have a PDF proof option available. We will not be responsible for any reprints if your file is sent in size ratio different than the measurements specified in your order. If you need a decimal size or special size, you requested through our "Estimate" section.

How to setup artwork files for pole pockets?

A: Your submitted graphic should fit the dimensions of the print you ordered. There is no additional bleed required.There will be a hemline across the graphic, it will be 2", 3", or 4" from the edge of the graphic depending on what sized pole pocket you order.

 

Pole Pocket Dimensions Options:

  • 1” diameter pole pocket is about 2” pole pocket.
  • 1.5” diameter pole pocket is about 3” pole pocket.
  • 2” diameter pole pocket is about 4” pole pocket.

 

For our grommets we use Silver Nickel Grommets Size #2 (3/4" outside diameter) with a hole diameter of 3/8"

 

4 Corners Grommets:

Grommets are placed only on the 4 corners of the banner.

All Banners equal and smaller than 4ft x 2ft will only include grommets in the corners.

 

Standard Grommets:

Silver grommets will be evenly place along the edge of your banners on an average of every 3ft.
(Ex. A banner 8' X 4' would have 4 grommets on top and 4 grommets on bottom.)

 

Top Standard Grommets Only: 

Grommets are evenly place only on the top edge of your banners on an average of every 3ft.

 

Top Corners Only:

Grommets are placed only on Top corners of the banner.

 

Bottom Corners Only:

Grommets are placed only on Bottom corners of the banner.

 

Holding Grommets (Pole Pocket Banners Only):

Holding grommets refers to our sliver nickel grommets placed on the edges right were the pole pocket starts. These grommets improve the strength of the pole pocket for heavier rods or poles. This option is also gives the banner the option to be hanged by the grommets when poles are not available.

Pole pockets are made by folding an extra 3 inches of blank media towards the back side of the banner and sewing it together. Your artwork should include a “safety zone” of 3″, within your final size, along the sides that the pole pocket will be created. Avoid any important text or logos in this area. If you have a white background on your artwork please include a bounding box with a gray 1pt stroke.

For 8 feet (height) banners please be advised that the pole pockets will reduce your final size 6 inches due to the pocket fold. Pole pockets longer than 8 feet may include an extra charge of $5.00.

If you need a pole pocket for a pole thicker than 1″ please indicated in the Special Instructions Box at the time of uploading your artwork.

Instructions for Double Sided Banners with Pole Pockets:

  1. Measure the Height of the Base, if any, from the top of the upper pole to the bottom of the lower pole. (This Height will be your Final Size.)
  2. Measure the thickness of the Pole.
  3. After measuring the thickness of the pole, double that quantity and bleed out that measure on your artwork in the top and in the bottom.
  4. The bleed out section on your artwork will be fold it backwards to create the pole pocket. Please make sure the fold will not cover any important information in the other side within your final size. Your safety area will be the same measure as the Bleed out measure.
  5. If you have a different image on the back of your banner: on the front side, in the bleed out section, flip your image horizontally and vertically to maintain a continuous artwork on your back side.

 

Pole Pocket Dimension Options:
